Honorary Chair

Mr. Kelcy Warren

A Texas native, Kelcy Warren was born and raised in White Oak, Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in civil engineering, he settled in Dallas and has been in the energy industry for more than 30 years.

Kelcy oversees the Energy Transfer family of companies, a diverse portfolio of publicly-traded companies involved in the gathering, treating, processing and transporting of natural gas, natural gas liquids and crude. He is Chairman of Energy Transfer Equity (ETE), the general partner of Energy Transfer Partners (ETP), of which he serves as Chief Executive Officer, and Regency Energy Partners (RGP).  Additionally, Southern Union and Sunoco, two of the great icons of the energy industry, are also part of the Energy Transfer family of companies.

In addition to his work in the energy business, Kelcy serves on the boards of directors of The Klyde Warren Park, The Lamplighter School, and the University of Texas Arlington.  He also has been a longtime supporter of the Boy Scouts of America and supports a number of children's charities around the country through the Cherokee Crossroads, Inc. Foundation.
